A diver underwater reaching toward a small companion drone concept

Capture the feeling, not just the view

PicDeep Milo

We are validating a new way to capture underwater memories: companion-like, intuitive, portable, and designed around the diver's real concerns.

Our vision

Underwater memories should feel effortless, personal, and safe.

Divers do not only want a record of what they saw. They want the feeling of being there: the dive buddy beside them, the movement through the water, and the moments that are hard to capture while handling gear.

PicDeep exists to make those moments easier to preserve without turning the dive into a photography session.

The problem

Current underwater capture is still too demanding.

Today, getting high-quality underwater footage often means bulky equipment, expensive gear, manual control, and extra attention taken away from the dive itself.

01

Hard to stay present

Manual capture pulls attention away from the experience.

02

Risk feels high

People worry about damage, loss, currents, and navigation.

03

Gear gets in the way

Existing options can feel expensive, heavy, tethered, or complex.

Survey signal

The demand is emotional, but the barriers are practical.

Our first idea

A companion-first capture system for divers.

Milo is our concept for turning underwater photography from a risky, gear-heavy task into an easy companion-like experience. The product is still in validation, so this page focuses on the problem and the direction we are testing.

Engineered Excellence

Intuitive

Capture without constant piloting

Explore gesture-led and simple interaction patterns so divers can stay focused on the water, not on controls.

Portable

Reduce gear friction

Design around a compact companion form that fits the realities of travel, diving, snorkeling, and spontaneous use.

Safer

Address loss and navigation anxiety

Validate guidance, awareness, and recovery behaviors that make people feel more confident using autonomous capture underwater.

Memorable

Prioritize the diver in the memory

Capture the experience from the outside, so people can remember themselves and their dive buddies inside the moment.
